The 5th annual Greenwich Wine + Food Festival got off to a grand gourmet start on Thursday, September 24, when host Kathie Lee Gifford and special guest Geoffrey Zakarian mingled with local foodies at a wine dinner at JHouse Greenwich. The evening began with Gifford and Zakarian welcoming guests with champagne in a beautiful outdoor entertaining space off of one of the Riverside, CT, hotel’s suites. Then, once seated and learning about the primary beneficiary for the Festival, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, guests tasted Gifford’s Gifft wines while enjoying four courses from JHouse chef Conor Horton. They included his Spanish Octopus Carpaccio, Maryland Crab Cake, Braised Beef Short Ribs and signature J House “Candy Bar” dessert.
