After a long, hot day walking on soft sand, retreat to your beach bar and mix up this citrusy take on Donn Beach’s Daiquiri.
Ingredients
SERVES 1
- 2 oz (60 ml) white rum
- ²⁄³ oz (20 ml) orange curaçao
- ²⁄³ oz (20 ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
- ¼ oz (7.5 ml) maraschino cherry liqueur (or juice)
- ¼ teaspoon Sugar syrup (below)
- orange wheel and maraschino cherry, for garnish
Directions
- Combine the ingredients (except the garnish) in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with an orange wheel and a maraschino cherry.
