Echoing Washington Heights’ diversity, runners for the NYRR Washington Heights Salsa, blues and Shamrocks 5K are serenaded throughout the course with musical groups playing salsa blues and Irish folk music, plus gospel, merengue, and jazz. Race starts at West 173rd Street in Washington Heights.
Registration ranges from $18 to $45 depending on NYRR membership level.
