Late summer offers a rare chance to see some of the most stunning private gardens and properties in Newport, RI. The annual Newport Secret Garden Tours’ “On and Off the Avenue & Drive” event, September 6 to 8, is a self-guided tour of at least 10 incredible gardens located on and off world-famous Bellevue Avenue, Ocean Drive and nearby neighborhoods. Proceeds help raise money for arts education programs in local public schools. Tickets from $20 (good for all three days)
