Annual Go Wild! Festival Supports Greenwich Land Trust

It was a gorgeous, fall afternoon when the Greenwich Land Trust held it’s 17th annual Go Wild! family festival September 25 at Conyers Farm in backcountry Greenwich, CT. Friends and family wandered the fields exploring the bungee trampoline, petting zoo, pony rides, arts and crafts, harvest maze, rock climbing wall, soccer and corn hole games, and much more. Guests enjoyed Garden Catering cones, wraps from Fairway Market, and cupcakes from Black Forest Pastry Shop among other treats, while Gunsmoke performed popular country tunes. New Canaan Nature Center and Beardsley Zoo introduced visitors to some special feathered and cold-blooded friends and, as usual, the spectacular hot air balloon rides stole the show. More than 1,200 people came out for this year’s festival, which supports Greenwich Land Trust’s work to preserve open space. The land trust protects more than 774 acres of permanently preserved land and works to create a community of natural beauty and environmental health.
