There was a festive, tailgate-like atmosphere at B*CURED’s annual fundraiser, held on March 5 for 300 attendees on the indoor turf at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, CT. Guests snacked on mini-cheeseburgers and hot dogs, grilled cheese and chili provided by Watsons Catering and took full advantage of private access to Chelsea Piers’ batting cages and trampolines. A silent auction raffled off tickets to the musical Hamilton and a week’s stay at Albany Bahamas, and other big-ticket prizes. The event raised $180,000 to support B*CURED’S grant program, aimed at ending brain cancer.
