A sold-out crowd gathered at the Riverside Yacht Club for Greenwich Hospitalโ€™s 2019 Under the Stars event. The event honored Karen Santucci, MD, the Walker family of Shreve, Crump & Low, and the Warwick family, for their support and lasting contributions to Greenwich Hospital.ย

Co-chairs Katie Fong Biglin, Andrea Sinkin Jaffe and Jennifer Turano spearheaded a planning committee of over 50 volunteers. โ€œOur time as co-chairs has been one of the highlights of our time in Greenwich, and we feel fortunate to have met so many of you who care as deeply about the hospital as we do,โ€ said Turano. โ€œWhile each of us has our own personal reasons for being part of Under the Stars, the common thread is the tangible progress we see happening at Greenwich Hospital.โ€

During the cocktail hour, guests surveyed the silent auction items, which included a trip to Mexico, a year of shoes from Richards, a reservation at the exclusive Raoโ€™s in New York City, and stunning radiant diamond and platinum flower motif drop earrings from Shreve, Crump & Low and a runway spot at a fashion show sponsored by Serendipity. Under a sprawling tent on the clubhouse lawn, Calla lily blooms hung from the tentโ€™s ceiling as a nostalgic performance from 98 Degrees topped off the evening. Funds raised at Under the Stars support technologically advanced, precise, subspecialty care in Pediatrics and Womenโ€™s Health.
