It was a night of music, brews and farm-to-table food as Mike’s Organic Market brought Bourbon Street to the Warehouse and gave back. Mike’s Organic Market kicked off its fall event season as the official Pre-Event for the Greenwich Wine + Food Festival with a “Nola @ The Warehouse” party. Hometown legend and Greenwich native Pete Francis (founder of Dispatch) performed a special concert featuring his brand new song “Belong to the Band,” for which the music video was shot in The Big Easy. The event showcased signature New Orleans cuisine, including oyster po’ boy sandwiches and warm beignets (à la Café Du Monde), prepared by Chef Geoff Lazlo with the finest locally sourced ingredients from Mike’s. Craft beers and rosé were featured from Val’s Putnam Wines + Liquors and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Roots of Music Organization in NOLA.
