The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Kicks Off 2016 Campaign To Raise $700,000 in 10 Weeks

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) kicked off its 2016 Man and Woman of the Year campaign with an evening of good food for an excellent cause at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT. The event announced the seven candidates for the 2016 Man and Woman of the Year award, who are tasked with raising $700,000 for the Connecticut, Westchester, and Hudson Valley chapter of LLS over the course of a 10-week fundraising campaign. The winners of the Man & Woman of the Year title will be announced at a black tie gala on June 11. The evening also honored LLS’s Girl and Boy of the Year, two local children who have survived or are still fighting blood cancer and continue to inspire those around them. This year’s honorees are Ryan Costa of Sandy Hook, CT and Savanna DiFatta of New Rochelle, NY.
