MS Society’s Bike Ride Brings Together Volunteers For a Fun Challenge

Avid bikers and enthusiastic volunteers came out to support the National MS Society’s Connecticut chapter during the Bike MS: Praxair Off the Chain Ride on June 12. Riders gathered at Cranbury Park in Norwalk, CT, to take part in the ride, which offered multiple bike routes for all levels, ranging from two miles to 100 miles. Supporters manned fully stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles along the routes, while medical personnel, law enforcement and motorcycle escorts ensured all participants were safe. At the finish line, riders were treated to ice cold drinks from Thimble Island Brewery, delicious BBQ from Danny’s Little Taste of Texas and snacks from Simly7 and Bakery On Main.
