Patron Reception Held for Greenwich Hospital’s Treasure Gala

Patrons, benefactors, and sponsors of Treasure, the 2018 Gala for Greenwich Hospital, gathered for a private reception graciously hosted at the home of Paula and Robert Butler (pictured above), in Rye, NY. Norman G. Roth, president and CEO, thanked the committee for their enthusiastic efforts and all of the supporters, whose generosity help the gala raise significant funds for the Emergency Department.

This year’s gala will be held at Greenwich Country Club on October 20th from 6:30-11:00 pm. Suni Unger, our CEO, founder, and longtime supporter of Greenwich Hospital will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

“I am humbled and honored by this invitation to stand beside Norman Roth, who I consider a friend, at this wonderful event for an institution very near to my heart. Greenwich Hospital represents first rate, compassionate care to every person, at every encounter. In my world, publishing, content, the stories we tell, is what carries meaning.  At Greenwich Hospital these stories are conveyed in thousands of daily moments of expertise and excellence delivered by physicians, nurses, technicians and staff. They give us reassurance that we’ve come to the right place,” she said.

Greenwich resident, Karen Rubin, is chairing the event. The Bennett and Kanarek families, the Greenwich Hospital Auxiliary and the O’Malley family will be honored for their volunteerism, leadership and philanthropic engagement in support of Greenwich Hospital. Guests will enjoy a festive evening inclusive of silent and live auctions, dinner and dancing.

Corporate sponsors of the Gala include Betteridge Jewelers, Classic Kids Greenwich, Dooney & Bourke, Eder Bros., Encon, Fairfield University, Miller Motorcars, Northeast Tent Production, Parking Productions, PBF Energy, Renny & Reed Floral and Event Design, Richards of Greenwich, Sebass Events and Entertainment, Shreve, Crump & Low, Studio 162, Turner Construction Company, Turnstone Wealth Management at UBS, Westmed Medical Group, Yale Medicine and Yale New Haven Health.
