Stamford Hospital Thanks Donors for Their Contributions Before the Facility’s Grand Opening

More than 400 guests filled the tented affair in front of the new Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT, for a special opening reception on September 15. Special guests, including MSNBC’s Brian Williams and Peter Sachs, chairman of The Campaign for Stamford Hospital, thanked donors who came out in celebration of the new facility. Guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner and had the opportunity for private tours of the new 650,000-square-foot hospital, with 180 private rooms with private bathrooms, significantly larger operating rooms and a central location for all Heart and Vascular Institute services among its key features.
