Hundreds of generous Westchester Land Trust supporters gathered together to honor Benny Caiola of Larchmont Susan henry of Waccabuc and WLT’s 31-year history of protecting the land at its annual benefit on Saturday, June 1st. Guests enjoyed live music, farm fresh food, and “Westchester Bees Knees” cocktails amidst the green rolling hills of GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills. Benefit attendees were treated to an impromptu slight-of-the-hand magic show, while they competed in a 19th hole golf contest and participated in a silent auction. As the only organization that prioritizes land conservation across Westchester and eastern Putnam counties, WLT is thrilled to have raised nearly half a million dollars to support its mission to preserve the health and vitality of the land, while also, protecting places where the community can connect with nature.
