Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial kick-off to everything we love about summer—sun, beach, friends and BBQs! If a perfect burger is in your future, you’ll be happy to know that Saturday, May 28 is National Burger Day. Craft butchery Fleishers has the perfect way to celebrate with the launch of their new Burger Box!
Each box includes four 6 oz. or 8 oz. hand-formed patties—made from a blend of your choice that includes: new dry-aged beef; classic, pasture-raised, grass-fed beef; beef mixed with bacon; or lamb. You can build your box in the store or call ahead and customize the assortment to please the tastes of all your guests—even if you’re throwing a last minute BBQ. Fleishers also carries everything else you need to complete the perfect burger from buns and greens to a variety cheeses and condiments (all locally sourced).
To kick things off on Saturday, Fleishers of Greenwich is giving the first 25 customers a classic burger blend box on the house. Heading to the beach? Fleishers of Westport will head to Compo Beach at 3 p.m. to grill burgers for beach goers and hand out free boxes.
