Greenwich Wine + Food is built on a core mission to give back to our community and lift up those in need. After the last two years, we are keenly aware of how the culinary industry in our area and around the world has been affected. We are proud to announce our new partnership with co-beneficiaries Wholesome Wave and The Jacques Pépin Foundation. The JPF supports community kitchens that offer free life skills and culinary training to adults with high barriers to employment, including previous incarceration, homelessness, substance abuse issues, low skill and education attainment and lack of work history. Founded in 2007 by Chef Michel Nischan, the late Gus Schumacher, and the late Michael Batterberry, Wholesome Wave was created to address diet-related diseases by helping low-income Americans buy and eat healthy fruits and vegetables. 100% of this year’s net proceeds will go to these important causes.

WHOLESOME WAVE

Wholesome Wave is fighting nutrition insecurity across the US by developing and deploying programs, platforms, and seed funding to help a network of community-based organizations address the lack of affordability and access to healthy food.

THE JACQUES PÉPIN FOUNDATION

The Jacques Pépin Foundation supports free culinary and life skills training, through community based organizations, that helps individuals detached from the workforce gain confidence, skills, and employment in food service.
