The Benefit for Greenwich Hospital celebrates milestone investments in $125 million Arc of Care Campaign

More than 350 people attended The Benefit for Greenwich Hospital on September 27, celebrating an $82 million milestone in the hospital’s $125 million Arc of Care Campaign. The multi-year fundraising initiative is fueling expansion in five key clinical areas: Behavioral Health, Children’s Health, Heart and Vascular, Neuroscience, and Oncology.

The annual event transformed Greenwich Country Club for friends, supporters, community members, and Yale New Haven Health and Yale School of Medicine leadership. Guests gathered for a cocktail hour in the ballroom and then enjoyed dinner, dancing and a live auction under a large, white tent decorated with a lavender-inspired theme that included hundreds of lush plants—representing growth and sustainability.

The Benefit featured a historic moment to honor devoted community members Icy and Scott Frantz with the inaugural Greenwich Hospital Luminate Health and Medicine Award. “The award was envisioned as part of our campaign to recognize the significant impact devoted community members have on our hospital,” said Noël Appel, Greenwich Hospital senior vice president and chief development officer. “The Frantz family has played a central role in past campaigns, in addition to Arc of Care as members of the Campaign Leadership Council. They have helped Greenwich Hospital achieve important milestones, most recently within the advancement of Children’s Health.”

Also, noting two physicians as “superb clinicians, leaders, advocates, educators and compassionate caregivers,” Greenwich Hospital President Diane P. Kelly presented Physician Honoree Awards to Dr. Shruti Gupta, medical director of Greenwich Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; and Dr. Romelle Maloney, a community OB/GYN who is medical director for the Westchester-Greenwich Region at Northeast Medical Group — part of Yale New Haven Health.
