The Opus Spring Benefit Committee could not have asked for better weather as the beautiful spring evening perfectly set the tone for this successful event. Revelers donned elegant black and white formal attire and fully embraced the theme with an array of eye-catching masks. After perusing a wide selection of silent auction packages, guests were swept into the stunning ballroom brimming with luscious floral arrangements and black and white tablescapes glittering under the soft glow of striking candelabras. The ever-entertaining CK Swett officiated the heated live auction while guests dined on a gourmet surf and turf dinner followed by chocolate molten cake. P2P beneficiary and featured guest speaker, Fabio Jaime, was introduced by Ceci Maher, Executive Director of Person-to-Person and spoke movingly of the many successes he has achieved with the help of Person-to-Person. After the successful paddle raise, guests were invited to dance the night away on the black and white checkered dance floor, installed especially for this black and white affair. The Opus Masquerade Ball also featured the first ever after-party, allowing guests to dance into the early hours of the morning with the acclaimed King of Hearts live band while snacking on delicious late night bites.

The mission of Opus is to support the charitable work of Person-to-Person throughout Fairfield County. Person-to-Person provides emergency assistance for basic needs plus other support to individuals and families as they move toward financial stability.
