Sustainable Shoes We Love

Serendipity Must Have

Launched in June 2020 by Australia natives James Rowley and Paul Robins (Rowley now lives in Old Greenwich, CT), Woolloomooloo Shoe is a sustainable shoe brand made from merino wool. The footwear is made from wool sourced from Australian wool farmers, which is spun into a fine thread and then run through a 3D knitting machine to create each shoe’s upper portion—a different process from other manufacturers—and is machine washable.

Their current bestseller is the Belmont sneaker, in natural ($150). A variety of new styles will be introduced beginning in February, including the Fraser sneaker and the Mudgee slip-on, which will come in multiple colors and both have outsoles made from recycled materials.
