There’s never been a better time to visit Fiji. Fiji’s national airline, Fiji Airways, has two new Airbus A350 XWB aircrafts. This is the first airline in the South Pacific to have these planes which are considered the world’s most modern all-new wide-body aircraft. The 33 full flat business seats translates into extra space and comfort, high-definition entertainment systems and one of the quietest planes in the sky.

Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa’s new Reef Wing is their new luxury offering featuring 74 rooms, suites, and private bures, the Reef Wing covers more than a quarter of the island for a private resort within a resort experience. A favorite for honeymooners and couples on a romantic getaway, the wing has its own dedicated check-in, lunchtime restaurant and an adults-only infinity pool where complimentary cocktails and canapés are served. The six Reef bures are beachfront retreats complete with a private lawn leading down to the beach, an outdoor rain shower and a spacious room all in a private and secluded section of the island. The location of the resort is ideal, overlooking Viti Levu’s stunning Coral Coast on one side and its own private beach and the lagoon on the other. The lagoon has sandy beaches and is not as affected by the tides found in Denarau, so travelers can safely enjoy swimming and water sports year round.
Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa offers couples a private sanctuary at the Waitui Beach Club, located on the opposite side of the main resort so couples can enjoy tranquility and seclusion. The adults-only Beach Club offers a variety of extras including a daily breakfast buffet (with both Fijian and International favorites), complimentary laundry and ironing daily, complimentary sunset cocktails and drinks. The Waitui PLUS Rooms, offers the same spacious room type but there are more inclusions like a private beach cabana for duration of your stay; an included 60-minute spa treatment per person per day; and a Jet Ski experience.

Couples of Club InterContinental have their own private iTokani butlers, who can arrange private tours, set up romantic dinners on the beach and create your perfect island itinerary, be it sailing, snorkeling, fishing or visiting a part of Fiji only those in the know (like your butler) can recommend. Club InterContinental is an exclusive resort within the property. This intimate area—there are only 50 luxury one or two bedroom suites—affords travelers a very unique experience.
