Alex Guarnaschelli

Guarnaschelli is an Iron Chef and a regular judge on the Food Network primetime show “Chopped”. She participated in the successful chef-cook mentoring series “All-Star Academy” on Food Network with Michael Symon, Bobby Flay, Curtis Stone and Ted Allen. She also completed 3 seasons of Alex’s Day Off, a show produced by Bobby Flay, airing on Cooking Channel.

She is the renowned chef and executive chef of the New York restaurant Butter and is hard at work on an exciting (yet unnamed) project slated to open this fall in Miami. She is also working on a follow up book to her first “Old School Comfort Food: the way I learned to cook” slated for publication in 2016. She is a regular blog contributor for People Magazine “Great Ideas” and supports charities including Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Wellness in the Schools and Share Our Strength. Whether on The Today Show, in The New York Times or at home cooking with her daughter, Alex lives a life infused with food and great ingredients!
