What has been your biggest challenge and how did you find a solution? Maintaining exceptional quality while working with all the people that it takes to bring a project to reality in a timely manner is our biggest challenge. Keeping the lines of communication open and keeping the client fully in the loop ensures the best results no matter how big, or small, the project.
Tell us a little more about your most memorable projects. All of our projects have a memorable moment or design feature, which becomes a ‘do you remember when’ in our office conversations. A few that stand out are: a guest barn featuring a floating ‘cube’ bedroom; a home theater designed by the professionals who designed George Lucas’s home theater; building a Robert A.M. Stern-designed home in Westport; and building a three-story ‘treehouse’ which functions as a writing retreat for the homeowner.
