Oomph: Transforming Designs

Oomph-Living

Adding a few simple elements of great design can totally transform a room. That’s why Oomph’s collection of custom home furnishings and accessories, made entirely in the U.S., are fresh and modern and their bespoke services include original design and detailing to add oomph to any nest.

What inspires your designs? We travel as much as our schedule allows, and visiting new places and seeing different cultures always gets our design juices flowing. Rarely do we come home without a few great ideas.

What colors are you loving now? Greens, lilacs and warm whites!

What three pieces do you think every home should have? A Why Not side table is perfectly sized for almost any space; The Malibu Coffee Table is the focal point of everyday living; and, a Platform Bed—no messy skirt—always looks tidy, and it’s so comfortable.

Oomph-Dinning

What design trend have you seen recently that you love? Bold prints and florals are making a huge comeback, especially in high octane hues. They never went away for us, but we are happy to see more people embracing them even if it’s in a modest dose.

What are your favorite ways designers have used your products? Nothing is more thrilling than seeing how designers interpret our designs; there are so many different possibilities. One of our most loved pieces is the Newport Console. We’ve added sizes over the years to adapt to various spaces and clients’ needs and this iconic design seems to be at home everywhere. Another favorite is our platform bed. Seventy-five percent of the time, clients use their own fabric to upholster a bed and that is really exciting to see how different each looks from the other.
