Devil Wears Prada in Greenwich

Prada

L WeisbergerFifteen years ago, Lauren Weisberger’s book, The Devil Wears Prada, took the chick lit world by storm, becoming an instant bestseller. The first assistant of magazine editor Miranda Priestly, Emily Charlton (portrayed by Emily Blunt in the movie), is brought back in Weisberger’s newest novel, When Life Gives You Lululemons—and she’s visiting a friend in Greenwich, CT. The sardonic read is as much about Emily’s experience in suburbia as it is about the town, which Greenwich resident Weisberger portrays perfectly. “These characters might be living in an affluent town with a lot of privileges (and parties!), but their struggles are like all of ours: with their careers, their spouses, their children and their friends,” says Weisberger.
