This simple yet stunning necklace ($9,694) was first created by Jean Dinh Van, who was born near Paris in the 1920s, says Bradford Walker, vice president at Shreve, Crump & Low in Greenwich, CT. Dihn Van began his career at Cartier and the R15 necklace was inspired by the large chains outside the Paris Opera House between the street and the sidewalks. Walker says the necklace is very popular with Parisians and Americans now and “is meant to be worn for many occasions.” Shrevecrumpandlow.com
