American Red Cross Celebrates Women Who Care

Nearly 150 women and a few good men gathered at Wee Burn Country Club for the American Red Cross’ Women Who Care Luncheon. The Luncheon featured keynote speaker Dr. Natalie Stavas who is credited with saving four lives after running the Boston Marathon in 2013.  She was 800 meters from the finish line when two bombs exploded. Rather than running for safety, she ran towards the chaos.

Guests at the luncheon were invited to join the Red Cross Tiffany Circle, a group of generous and highly-involved women who ensure that the Red Cross has the ability to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to life’s emergencies.
