April Fools’ Party for Pequot Library

The Pequot library kicked off April in festive style, with an April Fools-themed fete in their historic auditorium on April 1. Guests sipped cocktails courtesy of Broken Shed Vodka along with wine and champagne from Greenfield Hill Liquor Store and Greens Farms Liquors. Local favorites The Pantry and Garelick & Herbs provided gourmet light bites. Beautiful spring blooms filled the room and guests were serenaded by Greens Farms Academy’s Acapella groups. After the cocktail portion on-site, guests dispersed to various private homes throughout Fairfield, Westport and Southport for sit down dinners. Barbara Bradley, Stephanie Guterl and Lori Langdon chaired the event, the aim of which was to foster community and love of the Pequot library, as well as networking. “It was a magical night,” says Special Events and Rental Coordinator Carole Owens Crawford. “It was truly memorable on every level.”
