Books & Beats Fundraiser For New Canaan Library is a Groovy Success

As guests arrived at the New Canaan Library’s Books & Beats fundraiser on May 20, they stepped into a stylish tent decked out with pink and white paper lanterns, delicate strings of white lights and exotic pink blooms. Held on the library’s grounds, the atmosphere was reminiscent of a Miami-style dance party, complete with a DJ spinning tunes. On The Marc Events provided Latin-inspired fare for the evening and guests sampled specialty cocktails mixed with Casamigos tequila. The annual spring fundraiser supported the New Canaan Library and its community programs, like workshops and classes for adults and kids, lectures, author readings, books groups, and more.
