Hundreds of runners and walkers of all ages honored survivors and remembered lost loved ones as they participated in Breast Cancer Alliance’s annual 5k Run/Walk for Hope on Sunday, May 19th. The crowd was treated to breakfast by Z Hospitality Group and PepsiCo and the children enjoyed getting their faces painted at the fun yet meaningful event. BCA’s impact was felt across the country, as women, men and children in communities nationwide also ran or walked in their own hometowns. Funds raised went toward BCA’s ever-broadening efforts to support innovative research, breast surgery fellowships and secure screening, and treatment for the underserved. BCA extends a special thanks to its Platinum sponsor Omnicom and to all of its additional sponsors.
