Ceramic Celebration

Hundreds of pieces of functional pottery and ceramic sculpture by local and nationally recognized artists were on display at the Clay Art Center’s annual Clay-Holiday Sale. People shopped for one-of-a-kind handmade items. Artists were present to mingle with guests and give tours of their studios. “This event was the big success it was because of our many enthusiastic volunteers, artists and supporters,” says Executive Director, Leigh Taylor Mickelson. The Clay Art Center aims to offer a stimulating space for studio practice, exhibition and educational opportunities to better serve the community, while believing strongly that the arts has the ability to enrich lives.
