Serendipity’s 7th annual fashion fundraiser combined philanthropy and style into one festive evening. Charitable area women and men walked the runway in fresh spring looks to raise money and awareness of their favorite causes.
Serendipity’s Fashion Night Out is a unique event, blending gorgeous fashion, worthy causes and tasty food. This year, area women and men modeled new spring fashions for causes they are passionate about, and that passion was palpable as they sashayed down the runway. Held March 2nd at The Loading Dock in Stamford, Connecticut, guests cheered on the models, then mixed and mingled with fashion industry experts, shopped the looks they just viewed on the runway, discovered new beauty secrets and this season’s must-have accessories. Highlights included B12 shots from NicholsMD and whimsical succulent rings from McArdles. Gourmet passed appetizers were supplied by Abigail Kirsch Catering, including their famous mini sliders. Foodies got to meet the chefs behind their favorite restaurants as Douro/Gaia, Harlan Social, Hoodoo Brown BBQ, and Char served their innovative dishes while chatting with guests, who washed down the delicious eats with fine wine from 90+ Cellars, premium brands from Heineken and cocktails from Absolut Elyx. Lucky guests won prizes, including: Olivine Gabbro New York Fashion Week (Jessica Kelly); His & Her Fashion (Christine Sagalyn); Castle Hill Inn Escape (Anda Hutchins); Ultimate Foodie (Karen Brown); Greenwich Wine + Food Festival VIP All Weekend Passes (Roseann Benedict); Woodstock Inn stay (Andrea Bonfils).
