The Inaugural Student of the Year Finale Celebration Benefited the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

At the inaugural Student of the Year Finale Celebration, guests enjoyed dinner, drinks and a silent auction to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The semi-formal event, held at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, CT,  also honored the success of area high school students. Emma Braten, a Wilton High School junior, was named Student of the Year for raising the most money during a six-week fundraising campaign she ran to support LLS’s mission to find cures for blood cancers. The event also recognized Student of the Year candidates, including Maddie Sach of Mamaroneck High School in Mamaroneck, NY, Katrin Nikolova of Academy of Information Technology & Engineering and Morgan Thibodeau of Westhill High School, both in Stamford, CT.
