On January 10th, LIFEWTR, a Pepsi brand, launched their Series 4 bottle design for their premium water at The Loading Dock in Stamford, CT. Canadian surrealist artist KRIVVY, one of the three artists who designed the new bottle collection, attended and created an original piece of artwork on-site. The cartoonist and illustrator donated her latest piece to the silent auction to benefit Silvermine Arts Center. DJ TJ Mizellโthe son of late Jam Master Jay of RUN DMCโprovided music for the evening.
Silvermine Art Centerโs Outreach Education Program provides substantive curriculum-based art programs in the Norwalk and Stamford public schools. The organization’s mission is to give experiences that expand the mind, nourish the soul and connect people through the universal language of art.
โItโs wonderful to see LIFEWTR supportingย Arts in Education at the local level, andย the partnership with Silvermine right here in PepsiCoโs backyard.ย The highlight of the evening, for me, was hearing LIFEWTR Series 4 artist KRIVVY speak about how art has empowered her and given her purpose,โ says Melanie Cappella, Director, Marketing, PepsiCo.
