Listen and Learn: JCC and UJA Greenwich

The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Greenwich and the United Jewish Appeal (UJA) of Greenwich Women’s Philanthropy held their Annual Education Symposium on March 8th at the Tomes-Higgins House in Greenwich, CT. It was attended by more than 50 people and the keynote address was given by Jacob Baime, the Executive Director of Israel On Campus Coalition. Two break-out sessions were offered: pop culture fans gravitated to “Seinfeldia: How a Show about Nothing Changed Everything,” with bestselling author Jennifer Keishin Armstrong. Chava Evans, a lifelong educator, artist and scholar, lead a break-out session on the biblical heroine, Queen Esther, and Prophesy. The event was attended by Christine Toback, Event Chair, Joan Mann, Honorary Chair, and UJA Greenwich Women’s Philanthropy President, Silvina Knoll, who presented opening remarks.

This annual event attracts a diverse intergenerational audience of women including leaders from the Women’s Philanthropy and JCC Greenwich boards; educators, business professionals and active parent volunteers from the Greenwich community.
