The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Names Its Man & Woman of the Year at Gala

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society honored two area residents for their outstanding fundraising efforts at the annual Man & Woman of the Year gala on June 11 at the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich, CT. Michael Fisher, senior partner at White Rapids Capital in NYC, and Noreen White, co-President of Acacia Financial in Montclair, NJ, received the distinction this year. The designation is given at the culmination of annual ten-week fundraising campaign, which supports LLS’s blood cancer research in honor of local survivors. Among the guests at the gala were sponsors, fundraising campaign teams, and others involved in the nonprofit’s community. There was a cocktail reception followed by a three-course meal and entertainment from DJ John Pagano. Bob Marrone, the anchor of Westchester Talk Radio, served as the event’s emcee.
