Neighbor to Neighbor Raises a Ruckus for Those in Need

Friends and supporters of Neighbor to Neighbor “raised a ruckus” on April 28th to benefit the nonprofit’s food pantry and clothing programs. Guests enjoyed bourbon tasting, mechanical bull riding, an old-fashioned photo booth and line dancing at the fun-filled and lively event. Libby Coverly Cooke catered with upscale southern cuisine. A highlight of the evening was the paddle-raise, which alone raised $35,000 for food, clothing, linens, school supplies and holiday gifts for low income residents of Greenwich and its neighboring cities. The event also included a live and silent auction, and all proceeds raised will help Neighbor to Neighbor create access to healthy food and basic living essentials for those struggling to make ends meet. Neighbor provides enough groceries to prepare 360,000 meals and clothing, linens and household items to fill 17,000 shopping bags each year.
