The 49th American Gold Cup returned to Old Salem Farm for days of thrilling competition. More than 6,500 fans gathered in North Salem, NY, for a weekend filled with boutique shopping, pony rides, face painting and outstanding show jumping. Among the event’s highlights, Ireland’s Shane Sweetnam and Chaqui Z won the $75,000 American Gold Cup Qualifier CSI4. Molly Ashe Crawley with Balous Day Date won the $35,000 Hermès Sellier Cup. McLain Ward of Brewster, NY, won the $71,200 Fidelity Investments Classic CSI4. Beezie Madden of Cazenovia, NY, and Garant won the $210,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup–New York CSI4-W, presented by CaptiveOne Advisors, LLC.
