On May 11, Serendipity celebrated its 2016 Design Market Digest and feted two top home industry professionals at an elegant cocktail party at Lillian August in Greenwich, CT. Aidinis Hirsch of Amy Aidinish Hirsch Interior Design and Douglas VanderHorn of Douglas VanderHorn Architects were named this year’s honorees, and the awards were presented by the 2015 honorees, renowned architects Dinyar Wadia of Wadia Associates and Rich Granoff of Granoff Architects. Serendipity founder Suni Unger shared with the crowd the many accomplishments of both Hirsch and VanderHorn, and home editor Stephanie Horton warmly introduced famed textile designer, and special guest and April cover star, John Robshaw.
Guests chatted with the honorees over wines including Whispering Angel rosé, the specialty cocktail, The Minted Lillian, and gourmet hors d’oeuvres from Marcia Selden Catering & Event Planning.
