Neiman Marcus at The Westchester in White Plains, NY, hosted Serendipity’s March/April issue party, with cover star Eva Amurri Martino, lifestyle influencer and Hollywood royalty—she is the daughter of actress Susan Sarandon and writer/director Franco Amurri. Martino chatted with the fashionable attendees, while they enjoyed Champagne and appetizers from Mariposa restaurant, including shrimp taco bites, sliced sirloin on crostini, bacon-wrapped dates, smoked salmon on cucumber, and spinach and artichoke-stuffed mushrooms.
“I had a blast meeting some new faces as well as celebrating with some of my own good girlfriends,” says Martino. The Happily Eva After blogger also pulled her favorite spring looks and presented them to the guests, along with simple tips on how to wear them. “My two spring pick faves were the Veronica Beard shirtdress ($450) and the Chloe shoulder bag in gray ($1,890). When worn together they’re a super cute day-to-night combo,” says Martino. Neiman Marcus spokesperson Hannie Sio-Stellakis applauded her talk: “Neiman Marcus enjoyed Eva’s thoughtful presentation. She gave a great, informative round-up of her must-haves and the crowd seemed to really enjoy interacting with her.”
Martino describes the experience of being photographed for the cover as special, saying “It was especially nice to be photographed at home in my own space. It will be great to look back on those pictures years from now and see how the house has changed.”
