Westchester Philharmonic celebrates the season with its annual Winter Pops Concert

The Westchester Philharmonic’s annual Winter Pops Concert served up a night of fine, fun and festive music on December 18 at The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. Soloist Ashley Brown was a big hit with the crowds and sang an encore of “A Wonderful World.” A last-minute stand-in to pianist Ji, Beck performed the scheduled third movement of Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto to a standing ovation. The artists and about 60 guests continued the celebration at the Pops After-Party, which featured a wine tasting by Aries Wine & Spirits of White Plains, as well as more food and music.
