I already purchased tickets for the 2020 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival, what should I do?

Will the Greenwich Wine + Food Festival still go on if there is rain?

Yes! Rain or shine we will dine! Make some fun out of it – put on your rain boots.

Are the food and drinks really free?

Is a cheeseburger better with bacon? Yes! I know it’s unbelievable – where else can you get 8 hours of Food and Drink, followed by an amazing concert in the area?

Why are there Service and Processing Fees?

Tickets purchased on our Site are typically subject to a per ticket service fee and a non-refundable per order processing fee.

Do you have Volunteers?

Yes! We rely on our Volunteers to help the Festival be a great success!

How can I get to and from the Festival?

Will I have a chance to talk to the celebrities?

YES! Aside from the formal scheduled appearances by our amazing talent, most of the celebrity guests enjoy the festival as much as you do, they can be found tasting all over the festival grounds, and dancing the night away at our evening concert. Plus, you can also buy your favorite celebrity guests cookbook and have it signed by them at the bookstore!

Can I get there by train?

Yes, it is probably the easiest and safest way to get to and from the Festival. Metro North’s Greenwich Station is just .2 miles from the Festival grounds!

Can we go in and out of the event or do we have to stay all day?

Re- entry is allowed, however once you come into the Festival, tickets are no longer transferable. You must come back to the check-in tent wearing the proper credentials in order to re-enter.

Do you offer Military Discounts?

Absolutely! Any active-duty or retired military personnel can receive a discount by emailing billing@ungerpublishing.com A valid military ID is required.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

If tickets don’t sell out, they will be available for purchase at the door.  But, why take that chance? Buy your tickets today before they are gone!

Do I need to pay for anything when we are in festival?

That’s up to you! While all of the tastings are free of charge with your ticket purchase, we do have some amazing vendors in our Marketplace, who will be selling their products. Cold? You can buy a sweatshirt. Forgot your shades? You can get those too.

Are there vegetarian options?

Yes! We strive to have a variety of delicious options for everyone.

What does VIP ticket include?

Our VIP ticket gives purchasers exclusive access to a dozen renown local chefs who will prepare an incredible feast sourcing all proteins, seafood and produce locally and sustainably to ensure the highest quality and minimal impact on the environment.

This special event will be open all day featuring a full bar with premium liquors, beer and wines; VIP private restrooms; and private viewing area for the 8pm main stage music entertainment.

Can I upgrade my general to a VIP at the door?

If VIP tickets are still available, we will absolutely allow you to upgrade your GA ticket, but don’t count on that, buy them today!

If I don’t drink alcohol, can I get a cheaper ticket?

No, but there will be plenty of non-alcoholic options at the Festival.

Can I get a refund?

Sorry, tickets are non-refundable.

Can I give my tickets to someone else if something comes up that day?

Yes, tickets are transferable.

Can I bring an infant?

Sorry, please leave your little ones at home. You are going to need both hands to taste all the amazing Wine + Food we have to offer!

Do you offer babysitting?

Unfortunately, we do not offer babysitting as no one under 21 is admitted to the Festival. However, you should definitely get one as the day/night is the best of the year! I hear care.com is awesome.

Can I bring my kids if they are under 21?

Under no circumstance will anyone under the age of 21 be permitted to enter the festival grounds. Police and security will be checking ID’s at the door.

Can I bring my dog?

No, please leave your furry friends at home. (It is not sanitary with all of the delicious food around!) If you want to enjoy Roger Sherman Baldwin Park with your dogs, Adopt-A-Dog is having their annual Puttin’ on the Dog and Cats too, the weekend of September 16th. adopt-a-dog.org Service dogs are welcome.

Can I bring a professional camera?

Professional cameras are only permitted for those with press passes.  

Will you be checking ID at the door?

Yes, Please be ready to show your ID upon entry. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted to enter.

Can I bring a chair for the concert?

Unfortunately, no! Trust us, you will want to be on your feet dancing along with everyone else, but if you need to sit you can bring a towel size blanket.

When will I get my tickets?

Tickets arrive moments after you purchase your ticket to the email provided!

Does GWFF provide handicap parking?

Handicap parking spaces are available in all parking lots outlined in our Parking information section, as well as the specific spaces listed below, which are available on a first come, first served basis.
-Island Beach Parking Lot, limited number of Handicap Parking Spaces
-Metered spaces on Steamboat Road, across from the Delamar, between Davenport Avenue & Museum Drive. The parking space will have Handicap Hoods.
-Metered spaces on Steamboat Road, between Museum Drive and Railroad Avenue.

If these spaces are full, you may park in any of the lots outlined in our Parking information section, where Ashforth Shuttle Buses will pick up and drop passengers off, including:
-Horseneck Parking Lot
-Ashforth parking garage

Is GWFF wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Greenwich Wine + Food Festival is held in a public park that is wheelchair accessible.

Where can I park?

For general admission ticket holders, parking is located at the Horseneck Lane Commuter Parking & Greenwich Plaza (there will be a shuttle available for Greenwich Plaza).

For VIP ticket holders, parking is located at the Arch Street Commuter Lot.

What do I wear?

Opening night: Casual cocktail attire

Saturday: Casual

Keep in mind, this event is in a park on the water and you will be walking in grass.
