What is the focus of your firm?
My award-winning firm has been solving people’s toughest interior design challenges for over 20 years. We specialize in high-end residential design with expertise in large-scale project management and oversight.

Tell us about a recent favorite project—what did you like best about it?
My family-friendly, modern renovation in Westchester, NY. I love the chic, contemporary design that is dressy enough for adult gatherings yet equally comfortable for young children.

lara-michelle-kitchenWhat’s your favorite part of your job?
I thoroughly love all aspects of my job, but the very best part is seeing the looks on my clients’ faces when their stunning new rooms are finished!

What design trend have you seen lately that you love?
I love that clients are asking more often for beautiful custom built-ins.  Much of my work now is designing unique wall units, bathroom vanities, and gorgeous mudrooms that are not only amazingly practical and look fantastic, but add tremendous value to a home.

What design principles are most important in a home?
Furnishings need to be appropriately scaled to room sizes and color and styles need to work together in a cohesive manner.
