Sustainable Puffer Jackets

Serendipity Must Have

“After my son Miran was born, I struggled to find baby and children’s clothes that were sustainable but didn’t compromise on style or comfort,” says Louise Vongerichten Ulukaya, founder of Mon Coeur. The stylish kids clothing line she launched in 2020 is made from sustainable materials like reclaimed organic cotton fibers and upcycled plastic bottles. “Mon Coeur aims to inspire the next generation of earth-loving kids through innovative styles,” she says.

Two of her most popular pieces are the puffer jacket, made from plastic bottles and ecodown fibers ($190) and the fun Good Human sweater ($69), which you can snag in an adult size, too. And as the weather warms, look for their spring/ summer line, which will now also include swimwear (made from recycled fish nets!). Says Vongerichten Ulukaya, “Kids are my biggest inspiration, they are the voice of the future and the biggest ambassadors of a greener future, and I believe they will be making the right decisions as long as they have the right products in front of them.”
