A Robot Concierge in Boca Raton

They’re like having R2D2 at your service. Meet Johnnie and Ethel, the robot concierges at the luxurious Boca Raton hotel in Florida. Named after the hotel’s architect Addison Mizner’s pet monkeys, these adorable automatons greet guests and can move around the hotel.

Each has a special robot butler menu with fun activity packages like “Family Game Night” or “Movie Night,” complete with popcorn and snacks. Johnnie and Ethel can even crack a joke or two. But if you need human interaction to get sightseeing recommendations or snag a reservation at the hot restaurant in town, no worries, there are human concierges eager and happy to help.
