Go Here First: Collective Hudson Valley Resort

Resort

BedroomBook a different kind of spring break, at Collective Hudson Valley, A Retreat at Liberty Farms in Ghent, NY. Opening in April 2018 (but taking reservations now), the resort is one of six locations launching this year (others include Vail, Yellowstone and Texas Hill Country).

ChairCollective Resorts was recently founded by Connective native Peter Mack, a former Starwood executive, to bring understated luxury into unspoiled spaces. Set on a working organic farm, the Hudson Valley outpost is the perfect setting for hiking, horseback riding or shopping at nearby boutiques. Dining options include a Farm to Table dinner under the stars, nightly s’mores and a gourmet yet casual BBQ in a Box. Accommodations are tents—but this isn’t roughing it. Think: king sized beds with high-thread-count linens and private decks with Adirondack chairs.
