Interactive Farm Experiences at Wildflower Farms

Only an hour and a half from New York City, this newly opened back-to-nature resort offers sweeping views of the famed Shawangunk mountain ridge and a plethora of outdoor activities to satisfy any nature lover. Guests can hit the hiking trails around the property and then unwind and take the Botanical Hour mixology class or enjoy some me-time at the Thistle spa. The property also features a unique farming experience onsite.

“In 2023, you will see a host of activities come to life at Maplehouse, our interactive farm education center where chefs test new recipes, farmers hang their harvest up to dry and local artisans offer pottery and baking workshops inspired by the seasons,” says Kristin Soong Rapoport, the owner of Wildflower Farms. “We are excited about our upcoming visiting chef programming, which will provide guests with intimate opportunities to get hands-on with some of the world’s most decorated chefs through meaningful conversations, classes and events.
