Belmond Eagle Island
Belmond Eagle Island Lodge is nestled in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This recently redone lodge is situated on a private island on the Okavango Delta in the lush UNESCO World Heritage site. Visitors can get up close to the region’s wildlife via mokoro canoe rides—guided water excursions offered in the local version of a canoe. Twelve eco-friendly Deluxe Tented rooms are designed to make the most of the natural surroundings: there are outdoor showers looking onto the delta, private decks and plunge pools, from which guests just might glimpse an elephant passing by. Fish Eagle Bar provides a romantic vantage point for watching the sunset—or take a private barge cruise out onto the water for an unforgettable view of the sky. End the day with storytelling and stargazing around the campfire. Rooms from $730 per person per night (fully inclusive)
