Girls’ Night Out Supports B*CURED

Serendipity’s Girls’ Night Out is a socially conscious evening that combines fashion, food and fun, all to support great causes. Held this year on April 21 at The Loading Dock in Stamford, CT, the event gave guests the opportunity to shop, mingle and honor the philanthropists who contribute to the community. An enthusiastic crowd cheered as these charitable models (and kids!) showed off fresh spring looks. The party continued with gourmet cuisine from caterer Abigail Kirsch, refreshing lemon cocktails from Keel Vodka and dance hits performed by the popular band Sweet & Meaty. In between, guests shopped for gorgeous clothing and jewelry, sampled expert beauty services and products and tasted fine wines. These individuals are heroes in the community for their efforts to help vital causes. Meet the men, women and children who made Girls’ Night Out a success.

B*CURED (Greenwich, CT)

Her role: Co-president

Mission: B*CURED is dedicated to ending brain cancer through vital research grants. To date, the non-profit has awarded grants to 15 programs at nationally ranked universities and hospitals.

What drew you to this charity? “Being co-president of B*CURED is the greatest honor. I lost my mom 10 years ago to brain cancer and it was (and still is) the cruelest disease I had ever witnessed. I joined B*CURED eight years ago to fight brain cancer in her honor, but since then, the group I fight for has grown to include countless friends and family battling this disease. I like that B*CURED started as a small, home grown group. It offers me the chance to get in the trenches with some incredible women and truly be a part of the change. I know B*CURED will be a major player in finding the cure to end brain cancer. We might be small, but we are mighty. Being a part of B*CURED means everything to me.”
