Girls’ Night Out Supports the Emily Catherine Fedorko Foundation

Serendipity’s Girls’ Night Out is a socially conscious evening that combines fashion, food and fun, all to support great causes. Held this year on April 21 at The Loading Dock in Stamford, CT, the event gave guests the opportunity to shop, mingle and honor the philanthropists who contribute to the community. An enthusiastic crowd cheered as these charitable models (and kids!) showed off fresh spring looks. The party continued with gourmet cuisine from caterer Abigail Kirsch, refreshing lemon cocktails from Keel Vodka and dance hits performed by the popular band Sweet & Meaty. In between, guests shopped for gorgeous clothing and jewelry, sampled expert beauty services and products and tasted fine wines. Meet the men, women and children who made Girls’ Night Out a success.

His role: Board member

Mission: The Emily Catherine Fedorko  Foundation (ECFF) is a family-run organization that spreads awareness, pursues advocacy and provides education about boating and water sport safety for children and adults. The  organization was founded in honor of Emily Fedorko, a Greenwich teen who was killed in a boating accident in 2014.

What drew you to this charity? “I have known the Fedorko Family since I moved to Greenwich.  I feel this is an important message for anyone who uses any kind of watercraft. Going out on a boat is so much fun but many people don’t think of the safety aspects, especially if they are a guest on someone’s boat. We want people to take a minute to stop and think about what they are doing, and to give some thought to safety. The ECFF is having a Walk for Safety on June 5 at Tod’s Point in Greenwich, where they will be holding water safety courses as well as handing out free life vests during the event.”
