Superstar Tim McGraw to Headline Festival

Tim McGraw Festival Headliner Greenwich Wine Food

The 8th Annual Greenwich Wine + Food Festival presented by PepsiCo just announced that Tim McGraw will headline this year’s event. McGraw will join other festival talent, including culinary special guests Daniel Boulud, Adam Richman, Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli, Kevin Des Chenes, and Lindsay Perkins. The festival will take place September 21-22.

The festivities will kick off on Friday, September 21st when the 2018 Serendipity Most Innovative Chefs will prepare their gourmet cuisine at the Opening Night Master Chef Wine Dinner. This year’s chefs include: Ben Pope (Mr. Koo’s Kitchen), Ben Freemole (The Tavern at Gray Barns), Julio Genao (Prime Stamford), Cedric Lamouille (Bistro V), Susanne Berne (Bianco Rosso), Jay LeBlanc (Knot Norm’s Catering Co.), Armando Sanchez (Washington Prime), Antonio Selendic (Dubrovnik), Brad Stewart (Flinders Lane). The dinner will honor special guest chef, cookbook author, and Food Network personality Alex Guarnaschelli, who will be celebrated for her innovation and contributions to the culinary world. Scott Conant and Adam Richman will also be in attendance as special guests.

On Saturday, people can enjoy tastings and demonstrations at the Culinary Village, home to the Grand Tasting tent, where guests can enjoy samples from more than 150 of the area’s finest food, wine and spirits experts. Other tents in the Culinary Village will feature the best in burgers, BBQ, tacos and more. There will also be sommelier, mixologist and brew master presentations, celebrity book signings, Q&A sessions and cooking demos with top culinary experts, a celebrity green room with live interviews and an exclusive Meet the Masters’ Panel discussion.

The Annual Burger Battle hosted by Adam Richman will return, as will the Annual Top Bartender Showdown hosted by Gary Dell’Abate, providing heated competition between area restaurants. Ambassador Chefs will also prepare an exceptional dinner for VIP ticket holders on Saturday.

The 2018 festival will benefit the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, the Town of Greenwich Parks & Recreation Foundation and Ment’or.
