YIELD: APPROXIMATELY
24 POPSICLES, DEPENDING ON MOLD SIZE
RED POPSICLES
1 frozen banana
1โ2 cup raspberry yogurt
1โ2 cup raspberries
1โ2 cup strawberries, hulled 1 to 2 tablespoons strawberry milk
ORANGE POPSICLES
1 frozen banana
1โ2 cup orange, mango or peach yogurt
1 orange, peeled and deseeded
1โ2 cup peaches, peeled and sliced
1โ2 cup mango, peeled and sliced
1 or 2 tablespoons orange juice
YELLOW POPSICLES
2 frozen bananas
1โ2 cup pineapple yogurt 1 cup pineapple, sliced and cored
1 or 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
GREEN POPSICLES
1 frozen banana
1โ2 cup pear, kiwi or apple yogurt
1 green apple, peeled and sliced
1โ2 cup kiwi, peeled 1โ2 cup pear, peeled and sliced
1 or 2 tablespoons apple juice
BLUE POPSICLES
2 frozen bananas
1โ2 cup blueberry yogurt 1 cup blueberries
1 to 2 tablespoons water
PURPLE POPSICLES
1 frozen banana
1โ2 cup berry yogurt
1 cup mixed berries
1 to 2 tablespoons grape juice
Starting with the red popsicles, place all of the ingredients except the liquid into a blender and puree until smooth. Add the liquid as needed to get a pourable consis- tency. Place each color mixture into its own bowl or piping bag. Repeat this procedure with all the other colors.
In color order, spoon, pipe or pour an even amount of each color mixture into the popsicle molds, layering each color evenly into each mold. Freeze until solid, up to 4 hours or overnight.
To remove the popsicles from their mold, run the molds briefly under warm water.
